Disco Dancing is a live perfomance phone 'app' that merges the barrier between audience and performance. Inspired by the 'Cha Cha Slide' and my own interest in dance, Disco Dancing adds an element of interactivity for the audience in live time using servers while exploring what Live Media and Talking Machines mean to me today in a world of art and technology.

The two sketches must be running at the same time for the data to be sent from the 'audience' sketch to the 'speaker' sketch, where the servers will receive and emit using text to speech.

Medium: Wearable Tech

The Girls Who Code x D.tech Club co-founder and I developed a website to promote the club. In addition, we highlighted our club’s achievements, as well as our personal journeys as we navigated our emerging interest in computer science. Lastly, we wanted to spread the Girls Who Code mission statement and strengthen the GWC community. We incorporated our own video tutorials which are drawn from the club’s curriculum, and so that others outside our club could learn how to code. I also animated the koi fish intro sequence in the tutorial videos.
